Match AI began with a simple observation: most people do not want a machine that answers questions, they want someone pleasant to talk to at the end of a long day. The cast is small, each personality is written by hand before it ever reaches a screen, and nothing is published until it reads like a person rather than a product.
How a personality is made
Every companion starts as a page of notes: a way of speaking, a set of interests, a handful of things they would never say. Only then does the portrait get commissioned, in a warm editorial style that suits the tone of the writing. The result is a cast that feels distinct rather than interchangeable.
The standards we hold
Copy stays tasteful. Conversations stay suitable for adults who might be reading on a train. Portraits stay elegant. We would rather publish four personalities we are proud of than forty we are not.
